REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Chef Carulla – Private Chef Services

Effective date: 26/02/2026


 

1. Nature of the Service

 

Chef Carulla provides customized private dining experiences tailored to each client’s specific request.

As this is a personalized service and not a physical product, traditional product return policies do not apply.


By confirming a booking through chefcarulla.com, the client agrees to the following terms.

 


 

 

2. Booking Confirmation & Payments

 


To secure a date, a non-refundable amount of the total agreed is required.


Bookings are considered confirmed only upon receipt of the amount.


Chef Carulla reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings without notice.

 


 

 

3. Cancellation Policy

 


Due to advance planning, ingredient sourcing, and date reservation commitments, the following cancellation terms apply:

 

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the event

    The deposit is retained. Any additional payments made will be refunded.

  • Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before the event

    50 percent of the total agreed amount will be retained.

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the event

    100 percent of the total agreed amount will be retained.

 


All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

 


 

 

4. Rescheduling Policy

 


Clients may request to reschedule their event:

 

  • Requests made more than 7 days before the event

    No additional fee, subject to availability.

  • Requests made less than 7 days before the event

    A rescheduling fee may apply.

 


New dates are subject to Chef Carulla’s availability.

 


 

 

5. No Show

 


If the client is not present at the agreed location and time without prior written communication, the service will be considered fulfilled and no refund will be issued.

 


 

 

6. Force Majeure

 


In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or natural events, Chef Carulla reserves the right to reschedule the service.


In such cases, payments will not be refunded, but an alternative date will be offered.

 


 

 

7. Client Responsibilities

 


The client agrees to:

 

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding allergies and dietary restrictions

  • Ensure access to a suitable and safe kitchen environment unless otherwise agreed

  • Provide access to the location at the agreed time

 


Failure to meet these conditions does not entitle the client to a refund.
